The deadline for this challenge was while I was on vacation. This was my first try at Photoshop for the iPad. It wasn’t as simple or intuitive (at least for me) as the tutorials and promos made it look. I did manage to create a simple overlay (zigzag pattern download from Spark) over this paperweight from MorgueFile, using layers and blend modes. Luckily it was on a white background so I didn’t have to mask out the background. Whew! I still need to spend some time leaning the simple program, but desktop PS seems so much easier — perhaps because I’ve been using it for years on an almost daily basis ;-)
